My Christmas ❄️

Christmas is one of the most popular festivals worldwide. Christmas is all about love for our family, friends, classmates, lover. This Christmas was my favorite time of the year. I tell ya what happened so better be ready. First of all My Christmas this 2018 is better than other Christmas on the past years, Because this year was so blissful, i got so many blessing from Jesus and love from my family.

But every happiness has a replacement of sadness so my story goes this way. So, my sister is a former student here in Lasalle. when she graduated here she moved to other school for College and she passed the exam there. The school she applied for college is UP CEBU so its a big opportunity for her and also for us to save money for my college, so fastforward she decided to go there and continue to strive for her dreams and passion. So, Everything went so boring, sad, Unhappy for all of us. We as her family and her number one supporter all we got to do is to support for her decisions, because family will lift up your higher. Months later,

She was a former layout, graphics, and photos editor of Kapawa, and this was the last award given to her before she graduated, 1st Place in Magazine Layout in Spectrum Fellowship.

December 1st 2018 Christmas is coming, everyday i cant stop thinking of my sister’s home coming. Absolutely, this is the only Christmas that happened to be more exciting. I noticed everyone excited and full of joy. My mother and father is never been so excited in their whole life because of my sister’s coming home. December 17 2018, my sister arrival and she’s here safe and sound we set up a surprise for her. At first she’s shocked and then she gracefully smiled. We all hugged her and exchanging stories from here and there. Christmas is important to us because this is the only time we could spend time as a whole family and sharing good memories to our love ones.

I spend my whole Christmas break by watching movies, listening music, eating at the fancy restaurants with my family, chit chating with my family . Christmas has come around once more. It is a season of merry-making and rejoicing – “a celebration of all celebrations” of sorts to commemorate the birth of the most important person in history. But Christmas is not just about the birthday of God’s son and that’s not also the reason why we celebrate and honor Christmas better than our birthday or any important anniversary in the family. If God really wanted us to celebrate it that way, God would have schemed Jesus’ birth in the same fashion we celebrate it today. But He chose a simpler way to do things because He wanted us to celebrate the “essence” not the event.
